It excels at efficiently tracing cables in walls and underground, locating fuses/breakers on final circuits, and identifying interruptions and short-circuits in cables and electrical floor heating systems. Additionally, it can be used for accurately tracing metallic water and heating pipes. The cable locator kit includes a purpose-made carry case containing both a transmitter and a receiver. The receiver is equipped with a torch function, making it ideal for working in dimly lit areas. With this all-in-one solution, no additional instruments are required for various applications, whether dealing with live or dead cables. The transmitter features an LCD display for transmitting level, transmitting code, and external voltage information. The receiver, on the other hand, is equipped with a backlit LCD display, providing details about the level of receiving signal, code of receiving signal, and live voltage indication. The device offers the flexibility of automatic or manual adjustment of receiving signal sensitivity, and the acoustical receiving signal can be switched on or off as needed. It also includes an Auto Power Off feature for power-saving purposes. Additionally, the cable locator features an extra torch lamp function, ensuring optimal visibility in dark environments. For scenarios that require distinguishing between multiple signals, additional transmitters are available for easy extension.
