Sweet Sue – American Character – 1950s

Description Absolutely Stunning, American Character (marked A.C.), Sweet Sue.  She is a 15″ walker and appears to have an original navy hair ribbon with a bow.  She looks similar to the doll on page 89 of Judith Izen’s American Character Identification guide, top right hand corner.  She is in very nice condition has a few “played with marks” and eyes stick somewhat.  There is a slight blemish around the rim where her head joins her neck and I have a photo of it in the gallery.  Also I notice a spot on her face in the closeup but that must have been from my camera, I will try to get it replaced.  None of this detracts from her beauty.  No original clothes but I have her dressed in an updated camisole/boxer set, rayon socks and Cinderella (of course) shoes.
