We recommend purchasing replacements in pairs, since models supplied in kits may vary. Beginning in January 2013, the item distributed under Parallax stock code #350-00014 was changed to Vishay TSOP34138, and was included in all BASIC Stamp SumoBot Robot Kits. The Vishay TSOP34138 is not used in Boe-Bot, Shield-Bot, or ActivityBot robot kits.
