TLDR: These dudes are legit. ………………………………. I don’t know much about motorcycle mechanics since I, like many, attempted pods on CVs �� and at best it wasted gas. But I’ve gone too far to turn back on this 83′ NH CB650sc project. It’s obviously not stock and I invested a good bit of time into this impulse buy turned motorcycle maintenance/fabrication instructor. I brought it back from a non-start to this. Enter Murray’s Carbs. I found these guys all over different forums, they seemed highly respected and after doing more research, I pulled the trigger. Pretty straight forward, tell’em your setup, they tune and test before shipping, which was evident by the fumes coming from the package. As plug and play as you can get. I had a minor idle issue which the guys talked me through, but once on the road the difference between these and podded CVs are worlds apart, I never knew this CB could pull so hard �� Unfortunately my tuning issue prior to the carb purchase is still present, but having these on the bike gave me more motivation to get this dialed. If you’re on the fence about this let this be another good story to tip ya in the right direction. After Murray spent some time trouble shooting with me and even offered to send me the CDI off his NH. What a guy.
